Worship Reflection: 9.14.08
This is a worship reflection from the perspective of a tech guy. I was on the board again this week and was really able to sense the Spirit moving this week. To be honest, when I work, I don’t really immerse myself in worship because I feel it is my responsibility to produce the best mix possible for the congregation.
With that said, this week was different. The 8pm service is always a great worship service because it is a younger crowd and they just worship freely. During this service the mix seemed to blend easy and I found myself getting to really worship. It was one of those times where I realized that what we are doing as a church is nothing without the focus being on God.
After getting to experience worship behind the board, I talked with the leader that night [David Tatum who will be the worship leader at The Well SouthEast]. He described the set that night as a train that he was just trying to keep on the tracks. On the outside i saw a church body loving the Lord through song. I am thankful to be involved in a church that values community and loves the Lord.

Mike, it is cool to hear how powerful God is working in your church and within you! It is cool to see your heart to serve the congregation by making sure the sound is excellent… God honors that passion I am sure. Even within all your ‘work’ at the church, it is great to hear that God touched you deeply!
