Idaho Trip So Far
So yesterday, Me, Luke, Jenn and Jason, left at 6pm to drive up to Kuna, ID. Here are some highlights/frustrations from the drive.
1. Had a good drive with friends
2. Was able to drive and talk on my cell phone without worring about getting a ticket
3. We had 4 drivers so we were able to break it up in about 3.5 hours shifts
4. I drove the last leg, through Oregon into Idaho. I got a ticket at 5am in the Oregon desert going 78 mph. The speed limit in the middle of no where in Oregon is 55! ridiculous
Pray
In the field of Christian higher education there is a lot of competition and rivalry, but there is also a common bond; Christ. In the world of GSAC sports there can be times of dislike, but that is all trumped when trials arrise.
You might have seen/heard on the news that a fellow GSAC school [Westmont College] suffered severe fire damage last night. You can go to the Westmont website for updates, but at this point the fire seems to be controlled after it destroyed/damaged multiple buildings on campus.
All this to say, it is at times like these where we must pray with expectation that God is in control. So after you read this just shoot up a prayer for the residents of Santa Barbara and Westmont that have been affected.
